ONE MOONLIT NIGHT by CARADOG PRICHARD

We're delighted that classic novel, UN NOS OLA LEUAD/ONE MOONLIT NIGHT by Caradog Prichard, features in The Big Jubilee Read. First published in 1961, it was voted Greatest Welsh Novel by a panel of literary experts and readers of Wales Arts Review. The Welsh edition is published by Y Lolfa and the English translation by Canongate. To mark Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee, The Reading Agency have compiled a list of seventy novels, short story anthologies and poetry collections published in the Commonwealth since 1952. HOLBY CITY farewell

There was a lovely tribute to HOLBY CITY's co-creator, Tony McHale in the final episode on Tuesday. As the episode wraps, Bernie and Serena can be seen working in Sir Anthony M.C Hale City Hospital. A fine and subtle tribute. Tony also received a "Created by" credit at the end of the episode.

But with her lifestyle and career choices tightly controlled by her mentor, manager and lover, Bert Ambrose, tensions are starting to build and claustrophobia is setting in. And having developed an unexpected and intense attraction to fellow performer, Bruce Forsyth, Kathy now faces a life and career defining crossroads.
