UNSAID STORIES double Broadcast Awards nomination

Congrats to Producer, Barbara Emile, on the double nomination for UNSAID STORIES at this year's Broadcast Awards. Barbara produced the opening episode, �Generational�, starring Nicholas Pinnock and Yasmin Monet Prince and directed by Alrich Riley which went out on ITV last year. It's been shortlisted in the "Best Original Programme" and "Best Lockdown Programme" categories. Fingers crossed for the ceremony on 27th May.


NEW CBBC SERIES - LAGGING

It's a wrap on new CBBC series, LAGGING, produced by Gert Thomas. The 10-part comedy follows a group of 11 year-old computer gamers - best friends in real life and online. It's scheduled to premiere this summer. Gert's currently Executive Producer on three upcoming shows for S4C.

Kim Revill's next two episodes of EastEnders go out on Bank Holiday Monday at 8.05pm and Tuesday at 7.30pm on BBC1 and iPlayer. There's a new character on the Square, Callum and Stuart's nan, straight talking pensioner, Vi, played by Gwen Taylor. Callum's suspicions of Ben deepen. Mitch and Karen feel as if they are being accused. On Tuesday, Linda tries to take control of Nancy.

Going out daily in half hour eps, Kim Revill is Story Consultant on the series and scripted three episodes including Eps 4 & 5 this week which go out on Thursday and Friday. For those who can't wait, the whole series is available to view on demand on All4 after TX of the first episode.

Congrats to authors David Stafford and Michael Russell for making the Crime Writers Assocation longlist in the Historical Dagger category. David with his first novel, SKELTON'S GUIDE TO DOMESTIC POISONS, which is published by Allison & Busby in paperback on 22nd April and Michael with THE CITY UNDER SIEGE (Constable), the sixth book in his Stefan Gillespie series. Fingers crossed for both authors and the shortlist next month!
