Run up to Christmas with Kim Revill's trio of EastEnders episodes. The first two eps go out on Thursday 20th December at 7.30pm and Friday 21st December at 8pm on BBC1. And then on Christmas Eve, it's at the slightly later time of 8.30pm. Bev turns up at the Slaters needing somewhere to stay. Kat is shocked to find Alfie at home with Maurice. And there's increasing concern for Jean. On Christmas Eve, Jean struggles with the burden of Alfie and Hayley's secret. Kim and Phil find themselves in an unexpected situation, while Linda fears the worst about Mick.

Nicky's ethics are tested when an acquaintance from the past puts her in a difficult position, but with a patient's life at risk will Nicky do the right thing? With a little nudge from Hanssen, a struggling Sacha finally opens up to a loved one. Meanwhile, Dom and Lofty's trip does not get off to the best start. With Christmas looming, Serena is forced to acknowledge what is really troubling her. And it is Leah's last day at Holby.

Kim Revill has written the first EastEnders podcast which will premiere on BBC Sounds on Wednesday 28th November. The brand new podcast will shed light on what happened when Kat Moon, Alfie Moon and Hayley Slater were all living together in Spain, during which time Alfie got Hayley pregnant and Kat had an affair and endangered the lives of her children. The audio drama will be available to download from BBC Sounds audio streaming and catch-up service, and is the first in a series of planned episodes set to delve deeper into the lives of Walford’s residents as companion pieces to the main show.
