HALFWAY TO PARADISE: THE LIFE OF BILLY FURY

BY CAROLINE AND DAVID STAFFORD
18 June 2018

A great 4-star review in Record Collector for the Staffords latest biography on Billy Fury. "..Fury's story has been told many times but rarely with such joy and charm as seasoned biographers the Staffords manage here. Written in a relaxed, conversational style, facts and figures elegantly weaved into an engaging narrative, it's the rich and respectful critique the singer's talents have always deserved. It's all here, mapped out via meticulous research and an unerring grasp of the great man's importance. Few music-based books have ever come so close to serving up such a complete portrait of their subject."
