Radio dramatisation of the classic novel by Caradog Prichard

A new bilingual dramatisation of Caradog Prichard's classic novel, UN NOS OLA LEUAD/ONE MOONLIT NIGHT - voted the greatest Welsh novel of all time - broadcasts on Sunday 4th June at 3pm on Radio 4. It's Radio Times: Today's Choice. The Welsh version with the same cast goes out on Radio Cymru over the next two Sundays. And preceeding Radio 4's broadcast is Opening Lines at 2.45pm which features the book as its subject this week.

If she can find the Doctor they might be able to help her – but where in Space and Time are they? These four missions - The Steel Cascade, The Martian Dilemma, An Ood Halloween and Dark Space take Doom to a Mediterranean cruise ship in 1966, the planet Mars in the distant past, San Francisco in 1999, and finally a desolate planet in a dying solar system. Along the way she meets former TARDIS travellers Ian and Barbara, the mighty Ice Warriors, and Brian the Ood. But when a mysterious stranger with silver hair and sunglasses turns up, will he be Doom’s salvation?

We're deeply saddened by Author, Broadcaster and Film Critic, Alan Frank's passing. Alan's the author of many books on cinema including titles on Roger Corman, Clint Eastwood, Frank Sinatra and his classic titles on horror and sci-fi which have many celebrity fans. He was a regular broadcaster on TV and radio and film critic for the Daily Star for over three decades. He was generous, entertaining and a wonderful friend to us all at Cecily Ware.
